These terms are an agreement between you and PartyPadi ("PartyPadi", "we", "us"). They cover the PartyPadi app, partypadi.com, app.partypadi.com and PartyPadi Studio. By creating an account or buying a ticket you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use PartyPadi.
01Who can use PartyPadi
- You must be at least 16 years old. Some events set a higher age limit, and organizers may check ID at the gate.
- You must give accurate details and keep your login codes and email account secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone or create accounts for others without their permission.
02What PartyPadi does
- PartyPadi helps you find campus events, plan outings with friends in Circles, follow sports and join runs and walks.
- Events, tournaments, matches and meetups are run by organizers or other users, not by PartyPadi. We are not the organizer of any event unless we say so clearly on the event page.
03Tickets and payments
- When you buy a ticket you buy it from the organizer. PartyPadi takes payment on the organizer's behalf through Paystack and issues your ticket with a QR code.
- Prices are shown in naira and include any PartyPadi service fee before you pay. Paystack's terms apply to the payment itself.
- A ticket admits the named holder once. Do not copy, resell above face value or alter a ticket. Organizers can refuse entry for a ticket that has already been scanned.
- Refunds follow the organizer's refund policy shown on the event page. If an event is cancelled, you will get a full refund of the ticket price to your original payment method.
- Organizers can transfer or reissue tickets only through PartyPadi.
04Organizers
- If you host on PartyPadi Studio you must give true information about yourself, your event and your venue, hold any permits the event needs, and run the event as described.
- You are responsible for the safety of your event, for honouring the tickets you sell and for refunds under your policy and these terms.
- PartyPadi does not take a commission from ticket sales; buyers pay a service fee shown before they pay. You can withdraw your sales to the bank account you add at any time. The first withdrawal each day is free and each further withdrawal that day costs ₦300. Refunds and chargebacks on your events are deducted from your balance, and we may hold payouts while we look into complaints, fraud or chargebacks.
- Sports organizers are responsible for match results and player registrations they publish.
05Your content and conduct
- You keep ownership of the photos, messages and comments you post. You let PartyPadi host, show and share that content inside the service so it works as intended.
- Do not post anything that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent or misleading, or that shares someone else's private information or images without consent.
- Do not spam, scrape, reverse engineer, overload or try to get around security on PartyPadi.
- You can report events, people, comments and messages. We may remove content, limit features or close accounts that break these terms.
06Safety at events
- Use your own judgement when you go out or meet people. Go with friends, share your plans and follow venue and campus rules.
- PartyPadi does not screen every organizer, event or user and cannot guarantee how an event will go.
07Our liability
- We provide PartyPadi as it is. We work to keep it available and accurate but do not promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions.
- To the extent the law allows, PartyPadi is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what happens at events run by others. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to PartyPadi in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 or other laws that cannot be excluded.
08Ending your account
- You can delete your account at any time from your profile. Tickets for upcoming events will stop working when your account is deleted.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, and will tell you why unless the law or safety reasons prevent it.
09Changes and contact
- We may update these terms. We will tell you in the app before important changes take effect. Continuing to use PartyPadi after that means you accept the new terms.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
